DCS Recruitment on behalf of a precision engineering manufacturer is seeking a Project Engineer to join their customer projects team in Greater Manchester. The role suits someone with 1-2 years in engineering/manufacturing, offering full training and progression within project engineering.

You will coordinate projects from enquiry to delivery, liaising with production, planning, procurement and quality to ensure customer requirements are understood and delivered on time.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years' experience in engineering or manufacturing.
• Experience using SAP ERP.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Good Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of customer projects from quotation through to completion.

Project Engineer

Location: Greater Manchester Permanent

We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established precision engineering manufacturer supplying complex machined components into highly regulated industries.

Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint a Project Engineer to join their customer projects team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with around one or two years' experience in an engineering or manufacturing environment who is looking to develop their career within project engineering. Full support and training will be provided by an experienced team.

The Role

Working closely with customers and internal departments, you'll help coordinate engineering projects from enquiry through to delivery, ensuring customer requirements are understood, communicated effectively and delivered on time.

You'll liaise with production, planning, procurement and quality teams while building strong relationships with customers and gaining exposure to the full project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

About You

Essential

• 1-2 years' experience within engineering or manufacturing.

• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Good Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.

Desirable

• Knowledge of precision machining or CNC manufacturing.
• Customer-facing experience.
• Exposure to purchasing or supply chain activities.
