Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited is seeking a Graduate/Trainee Project Engineer (Manufacturing) in the Middleton/Manchester area. The role offers full training, long-term progression opportunities, and a clearly defined pathway into a fully-fledged Project Engineer.

You will support Design Engineering with project planning, CAD drawing production, reporting, and coordination with the Contract Manager, with some customer-site visits and a flexible Monday–Friday schedule.

Qualifications

Are you a Graduate/Trainee Project Engineer or similar looking to kickstart your engineering career within a leading manufacturer offering full training, long-term progressioopportunities and an early Friday finish?

Since the early 2000s, this company has been providing specialist equipment to sectors including education, healthcare and scientific research. Due to continued growth and a recent acquisition, the project team is looking to take on a new Project Engineer to support their increased workload.

In this varied role, you will support the Design Engineering team with project planning, timelines, progress tracking, 2D and 3D CAD drawings and project reporting. You will also liaise with the Contract Manager and have occasional opportunities to attend customer sites. Full training will be provided, with a clear pathway to progress into a fully-fledged Project Engineer.

This role would suit a Graduate/Trainee Project Engineer or similar looking to kickstart their career within a continuously growing manufacturer, offering comprehensive training and genuine long-term progression opportunities.

The Role

• Manage project timelines, progress and records.

• 8:00am-5:00pm Monday-Thursday and 8:00am-2:30pm Friday (Flexible)
