Job summary

Mitie Group plc in the United Kingdom is seeking a Project Engineer to assist the Senior Project Manager across allocated projects, ensuring on-schedule delivery and compliance with health and safety, regulatory standards and client expectations. You will assist with design coordination, site surveys, progress reporting and commissioning, while liaising with installers, subcontractors and client reps.

Responsibilities include planning fire detection, access control, CCTV and intruder alarm

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills (written & verbal) with ability to interpret technical documents.
• Ability to plan and monitor work to tight timescales and deadlines.
• Computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with site surveys, reporting and commissioning processes.

Responsibilities

• Planning fire detection, access control, CCTV and intruder alarm systems.
• Coordinating installation activities to meet procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Actively monitoring and managing project progress.
• Providing reports to the Project Manager and client representatives.
• Commissioning and testing systems, completing commissioning paperwork.
