Wolviston Management Services are delighted to be supporting our client in Stockton-on-Tees to recruit an experienced Project Engineer to join their engineering and manufacturing team. This hands-on role involves managing projects from conception through to manufacture and delivery, ensuring solutions meet safety, cost and quality targets while coordinating with customers, suppliers and production teams.

Qualifications

• HNC, HND or Degree in Engineering.
• Experience in manufacturing/engineering environment.
• Strong SolidWorks experience.
• Experience with AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of fabrication, welding and machining.
• Understanding of tolerancing and standards (ANSI/DIN).

Responsabilités

• Managing engineering projects from conception through manufacture and final delivery.
• Interpreting customer specifications and translating requirements into engineering solutions.
• Producing detailed engineering drawings using SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
• Preparing engineering reports, manufacturing and fabrication packages, submittal documentation and O&M manuals.
• Ensuring manufacturing activities meet quality, environmental, health & safety and engineering standards.
• Monitoring project schedules, costs and overall delivery.
• Producing BOMs and supporting stock monitoring.
• Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors for cost-effective delivery.
• Working with production teams to ensure designs are manufacturable.
• Supporting continuous improvement across processes.
• Contributing to R&D projects and product improvements.
• Building relationships across engineering, manufacturing, customers and suppliers.
• Maintaining a safe working environment across production activities.
