Powersystems UK Ltd is hiring an Electrical Project Engineer for Renewable Energy in Bristol. The role focuses on managing high‑voltage renewable energy projects from inception to completion, with a supporting team and hybrid work setup.

You will drive technical excellence while coordinating cross‑functional resources to meet client expectations across 33kV–400kV. The ideal candidate has 2–3 years in HV/electrical engineering, a degree or HND in Electrical Engineering, a UK driving licence, and

Qualifications

• 2–3 years’ experience within HV/electrical engineering.
• Degree or HND in Electrical Engineering (HV Systems preferred).
• Full UK driving licence and right to work in the UK.
• Chartered status or working towards IEng/CEng (IET).

Responsibilities

• Manage high-voltage renewable energy projects from start to finish.
• Coordinate resources to meet project objectives and customer expectations.
• Uphold technical excellence across 33kV–400kV projects.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and wellbeing requirements.
• Collaborate with departments to integrate design and installation needs.
• Liaise with DNOs, TSO, suppliers and client contractors.

What You’ll Do

As an Electrical Project Engineer, you’ll:

• Manage high-voltage renewable energy projects (£1m–£30m) from start to finish, with support from Senior Project Engineers
• Identify, coordinate and manage the resources needed to meet project objectives and customer expectations
• Uphold technical excellence across projects ranging from 33kV–400kV
• Maintain compliance with H&S requirements, supporting our Priority No.1 commitment to Health, Safety and Wellbeing
• Work with departments across the business to ensure design and installation requirements are considered and implemented smoothly
• Liaise with key stakeholders, including DNOs, TSO, suppliers and client contractors

What We’re Looking For - Project Management/Engineering

• 2–3 years’ experience within HV/electrical engineering companies
• Well-developed technical, communication and commercial skills
• Experience of managing projects within a similar industry
• A degree or HND in Electrical Engineering (HV Systems preferred)
• A full UK driving licence and the right to work in the UK
• Chartered status or working towards IEng/CEng (IET)
