Job summary

Travail Employment Group is seeking a Project Engineer in the UK to take ownership of projects from concept through design, manufacture, installation and commissioning. You will deliver bespoke plant layouts, conveyors and process equipment, working with Sales, Manufacturing and Project Management to optimise outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience creating 2D and 3D general arrangement drawings.
• Developing plant layouts with conveyors and processing equipment.
• Producing detailed manufacturing drawings and releasing designs to production.
• Creating and managing Bills of Materials (BOMs).
• Strong project management and stakeholder communication skills.
• Knowledge of make-to-order design processes and ERP/MRP usage.
• Innovative problem-solving with continuous improvement mindset.

Responsibilities

• Create 2D/3D general arrangement drawings using SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
• Develop plant layouts integrating conveyors, screens, shredders, and sorters.
• Produce manufacturing drawings and release designs to production.
• Create and manage Bills of Materials in the ERP/MRP system.
• Collaborate with Sales, Manufacturing and Project Management to optimise outcomes.
• Liaise with customers and suppliers to meet project expectations.
• Conduct site visits for surveys, installation support and commissioning.
