Job summary

Dudley Council is seeking a Project Engineer – Design (Grade 10) to join the Capital Highways & Major Projects team on a permanent basis. The role covers development, feasibility, design and construction through to contract completion of highway and transport infrastructure projects.

The post involves liaison with clients and funding bodies, ensuring works meet specification and safety standards, and providing support to the Highway Group Manager.

An opportunity has arisen for a Project Engineer – Design.

We are looking to recruit a Project Engineer – Design (Grade 10) to work in Capital Highways & Major Projectssection, on a permanent basis .

Involving the development, feasibility, design and construction stage delivery through to contract completion of minor and major highway and transport infrastructure projects .

Duties will include liaison with clients and funding bodies and overall control of the work undertaken.

To ensure that minor and major highway works are designed and constructed to specification and appropriate standards . That works are undertaken in a safe manner and due regard is given to pedestrian and road users during construction works .

To assist the Highway Group Manager with the effective execution of minor and major projects and improvements and to deputise when required .
