Dudley Council is seeking a Project Engineer – Design (Grade 10) to join the Capital Highways & Major Projects team on a permanent basis. The role covers development, feasibility, design and construction through to contract completion of highway and transport infrastructure projects.

The post involves liaison with clients and funding bodies, ensuring works meet specification and safety standards, and providing support to the Highway Group Manager.

Responsabilités

• liaise with clients and funding bodies and exercise overall control of the work undertaken.
• ensure that minor and major highway works are designed and constructed to specification and appropriate standards.
• assist the Highway Group Manager with the effective execution of minor and major projects and improvements and deputise when required.
