Job summary

Dudley Council is seeking a Project Engineer - Delivery (Grade 10) to support the delivery of highway and transport infrastructure projects. The role focuses on coordination, quantity surveying through to contract completion, and ensuring works meet specifications and safety standards.

The incumbent will assist the Highway Group Manager in the execution of minor and major projects, deputising as required, with office work on site 3+ days per week.

Responsibilities

• Support construction stage delivery, coordination, quantity surveying through to contract completion of highway and transport infrastructure projects.
• Liaise with clients and funding bodies and maintain overarching control of the work undertaken.
• Ensure minor and major highway works are delivered to specifications and safety standards during construction.
