Project Engineer (Data Management)

What you'll be doing
- Responsible for collating Transmission Overhead Line (OHL) asset and reporting data.
- Collect and compile asset data related to Transmission Overhead Line assets to maintain a robust inventory for reporting purposes.
- Manage the Transmission Circuits Operations scorecard and gather all required data monthly.
- Support the Senior Project Engineer in developing Inspection & Maintenance (I&M) programmes to ensure compliance with internal policies and statutory regulations.
- Assist with regulatory reporting.
- Help ensure the safe and timely delivery of the OHL I&M work programme, including inspections, maintenance, fault investigation/repair, and defect management, working with internal staff and external contractors.
- Manage and report drone activities for the circuits team and act as drone coordinator.
- Proactively coordinate with internal and external interfaces to ensure effective time management and resource availability.
- Monitor work processes and outputs to maximize productivity.
- Continuously seek knowledge and experience in relevant business procedures and system operations.
- Maintain strong relationships with departmental and contractor interfaces.
- Adhere to Company Health and Safety standards to promote a zero-accident culture and safety behaviors.
- Review invoices against work plans, challenge contractor submissions, and request invoice amendments.
- Focus on continuous improvement through quality processes.
- Participate in training and development activities and evaluate their effectiveness.

Minimum Criteria
- Electrical Engineering HNC qualification and/or significant relevant industry experience in Transmission Overhead Lines.
- Site Management Safety Training / Safety Passport.
- Knowledge of CDM and HSAWA regulations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Valid full driving licence.
