Qualifications

• Engineering degree required.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electro‑mechanical, fluid, or structures systems.
• Experience with requirements management and system lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Apply mechanical and/or systems engineering knowledge across the product lifecycle as per company standards.
• Execute all stages of system lifecycle: requirements management, validation, design, development, integration, verification, qualification.
• Plan engineering tasks and generate engineering management plans.
• Translate customer and stakeholder requirements to define, analyse and inform the total project solution.
• Engage with suppliers and customers to ensure the solution meets their expectations.
• Manage engineering change to maintain system integrity and traceability.
• Provide support across the product lifecycle to deliver an integrated solution.
• Schedule design gate reviews and coordinate with airworthiness and safety for milestones.
• Identify and manage technical risks and opportunities affecting delivery.
• Liaise with engineering leadership and programme management to ensure adequate resourcing.

Job description

• The use of mechanical and/or systems engineering knowledge and processes within a product lifecycle.
• Executing all stages of system lifecycle like, requirements management, validation, systems design, development, integration, verification and qualification as per the company standard processes and customer requirements
• Being responsible for planning the engineering tasks and generation of engineering management plans
• Converting customer and other stakeholder requirements to define, analyse and inform the total project solution.
• To engage with suppliers and customers to ensure the solution meets their expectations.
• Managing engineering change to ensure system integrity all through the life-cycle, and ensuring traceability of all key design decisions.
• Providing support in all areas of the product lifecycle and deliver a totally integrated solution.
• Planning and scheduling engineering design gate reviews, engage with other functions e.g. airworthiness, safety to ensure the project delivery milestones are fully met.
• Managing technical risks and opportunities that may have a direct / indirect effect on the delivery of the project and system.
• Liaising with the engineering leadership and programme management teams to ensure the project is adequately resourced and support to identify any potential capability shortfalls
• Driving continuous improvement and incorporate effective systems engineering management practices
  You will hold an engineering degree, You will have knowledge of one or more of the following - mechanical, electro mechanical, fluid, mechanisms, structures or systems product development.
• You are motived and proactive, driving solutions to completion.
• You will have an appreciation and understanding of the engineering product life cycle.
