Project Engineer – Investment Delivery Directorate

Responsibilities
- Prepare, schedule, coordinate and monitor assigned engineering projects.
- Monitor compliance to applicable codes, practices, policies, performance standards and specifications.
- Interact daily with clients to interpret their needs and requirements and represent them in the field.
- Perform overall quality control of the work (budget, schedule, plans, personnel’s performance) and report regularly on project status.
- Assign responsibilities and support the project team.
- Cooperate and communicate effectively with project managers and other participants to provide assistance and technical support.
- Review engineering deliverables and initiate appropriate corrective actions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders about their needs and goals for the project.
Qualifications
- A degree, HNC or HND in an engineering discipline.
- Chartered or working towards Chartership (CEng).
- Proven working experience as a Project Engineer.
- Experience in a water distribution or similar industrial background.
- A strong understanding of CDM 2015 and its application to projects.
- A strong understanding of the various NEC contracts and their application.
- Excellent communication and time‑management skills.
- A valid UK driving licence.
