Job summary

Hunter Selection is seeking a Project Engineer for our Oxford-based client, a supplier of high performance systems to scientific research groups worldwide. The role focuses on managing projects from concept to delivery, with in-depth planning and coordination of R&D activities.

You will work with cryogenic equipment design, support tender documentation, and drive projects to plan while maintaining excellent customer service and continuous improvement within a leading engineering environment.

Qualifications

• Previous design experience in an R&D environment.
• Scientific systems knowledge.
• Manufacturing experience.
• Experience managing all aspects of projects.

Responsibilities

• Managing the technical/critical success factors of any given project for its lifetime within the company.
• In depth planning of projects
• Design of cryogenic equipment, or working closely with a design team, drawing checking.
• Technical input and management of R&D projects, co-ordination of teams.
• Customer service and communications, understanding of customer requirement.
• Driving the project (projects) to plan
• An understanding of Test and Installation of systems
• Assisting the sales function with technical specifications for tender documentation when required.
• Using, designing and developing processes to enhance products and improve the company performance.

Role & Responsibilities:
