Job summary

TipTopJob in Oxford is seeking a Project Engineer to join a leading supplier of high-performance systems for scientific research groups worldwide. The role offers varied days, and genuine long-term progression within a first-class manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities include managing technical/critical success factors, in-depth project planning, design or coordination of cryogenic equipment, R&D project input, customer liaison and tender support, plus process development to boost product

Qualifications

• Previous design experience in an R and D environment
• Scientific systems knowledge
• Manufacturing Experience
• Experience managing all aspects of projects

Responsibilities

• Managing the technical/critical success factors of any given project for its lifetime within the company.
• In depth planning of projects
• Design of cryogenic equipment, or working closely with a design team, drawing checking.
• Technical input and management of R and D projects, co:ordination of teams.
• Customer service and communications, understanding of customer requirement.
• Driving the project (projects) to plan
• An understanding of Test and Installation of systems
• Assisting the sales function with technical specifications for tender documentation when required.
• Using, designing and developing processes to enhance products and improve the company performance.
