Job summary

Aureos Infrastructure Services Limited in Glasgow is seeking a Project Engineer to oversee technical planning, execution, and delivery of infrastructure projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

You will assist in planning, design, and execution phases, review technical specifications, monitor progress, and conduct site inspections to ensure safety and quality. Strong collaboration with managers, clients, and contractors is essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Project Engineer or similar in infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of project management principles and tools.
• Willingness to travel to project sites.
• Approved CRE status or working towards it.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the planning, design, and execution phases of infrastructure projects, including civil works, utilities, and related systems.
• Prepare and review technical specifications, drawings, and project documentation.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure adherence to safety regulations, quality standards, and project specifications.
• Collaborate with project managers, clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Manage and coordinate project resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials.
• Prepare regular project reports, progress updates, and presentations for management and clients.
• Participate in risk assessment and management activities throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant industry standards, codes, and regulations.
• Support the tendering and procurement processes, including evaluation of bids and contractor selection.
