Job summary

Beck & Pollitzer is looking for a Project Engineer to join our team in Chippenham, supporting the delivery of mechanical and electrical engineering projects from tender through to completion.

You’ll support project planning and control, prepare quotations and estimates, assist with method statements and risk assessments, monitor site activities, and work directly with customers to ensure successful project delivery.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or a relevant Engineering discipline.
• Previous experience within an engineering environment.
• Strong Mechanical or Electrical contracting knowledge.
• Good understanding of Health & Safety and risk management.
• Strong communication and customer relationship skills.
• Ability to work effectively under demanding project deadlines.
• Strong organisation and time management skills.
• Confidence working with technical information and explaining it clearly.
• CAD experience would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Support project planning and control, from tender through to completion.
• Prepare quotations and estimates for projects.
• Assist with method statements and risk assessments.
• Monitor site activities to ensure work aligns with plans.
• Work directly with customers to deliver successful projects.
