Job summary

BIR is seeking a Senior Engineer / Project Engineer to support delivery of projects from planning through to completion in London. You will work with the Project Manager, site teams, subcontractors, consultants and clients to ensure successful outcomes.

Key responsibilities include coordinating engineering activities on site, reviewing drawings and programmes, monitoring quality, and maintaining records while upholding health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Senior/ Site/ Project Engineer.
• Strong technical and engineering knowledge.
• Experience within RC Frame and Groundworks.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to manage priorities and work under pressure.
• Strong attention to detail and proactive problem solving.
• Understanding of construction processes, drawings, specifications, and programmes.
• Relevant engineering/construction qualifications desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support Project Manager in the delivery of projects.
• Coordinate engineering activities on site.
• Review drawings, specifications, programmes and technical information.
• Monitor progress, quality and site performance.
• Coordinate subcontractors and site teams.
• Assist with project planning, reporting and programme management.
• Identify and resolve technical and construction issues.

The Role

As Senior Engineer / Project Engineer, you will support the successful delivery of projects from planning through to completion, working closely with the Project Manager, site teams, subcontractors, consultants, and clients.
