Job summary

ESSENTIAL EMPLOYMENT LTD in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced Project Development Officer to lead early development and planning of major property and capital projects. You will drive initiation, governance, stakeholder engagement and risk management to set projects up for success.

Working with internal teams and external partners, you will coordinate activities, support delivery, and mentor Project Officers to embed best practice across the team.

Qualifications

• Experience managing projects from inception to completion.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Knowledge of project governance, risk handling and PRINCE2 desirable.
• Experience in property, construction or estates projects.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and build relationships.

Are you an experienced project professional with a passion for delivering complex projects and driving positive change?

We are seeking a Project Development Officer to lead the early development and planning of major property and capital projects. You'll be responsible for project initiation, governance, stakeholder engagement, risk management, resource planning and project delivery support, ensuring projects are set up for success from day one.

Working closely with internal teams, contractors and senior stakeholders, you'll coordinate project activities, manage risks and support the delivery of construction and estates-related programmes. You'll also provide mentoring and guidance to Project Officers, helping to develop best practice across the team.

Key Requirements:

• Experience managing projects from initiation through to completion


• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills


• Knowledge of project governance, risk management and project methodologies (PRINCE2 desirable)


• Experience within property, construction, estates or capital projects


• Ability to manage multiple priorities and build effective working relationships
