Job summary

Hathaway is seeking a Cladding Designer to detail roofing and cladding systems, including twin skin, single ply and composite panels, with project values ranging from £1 million to £15 million. You will produce 2D drawings and fabrication schedules, liaise with the design team and suppliers, and support site teams.

The role offers a clear progression path to a senior position, with collaboration across main contractors, architects and fabricators and regular design team meetings.

Qualifications

• Proven design experience within the roofing and cladding sector.
• Be familiar with a range of building envelope systems such as twin skin, single ply and composite panel systems
• Must have 2D AutoCAD experience
• IT literate (Microsoft Office)
• Motivated, proactive and detail-focused
• Able to work as part of a team or solo on projects
• Ability to work to deadlines with a flexible, proactive approach
• ONC / HNC in construction or similar

Responsibilities
