Job summary

Aldwych Consulting is seeking a Project Engineer or Senior Project Engineer to join its civils team in Watford. The role is a full-time, permanent position with hybrid working (3 days in the office, 2 from home) and a salary up to circa £47,000 DOE.

You will contribute to technical delivery across industrial, rail, and residential sectors, delivering designs and coordinating information while maintaining high standards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience in civil engineering, ideally within a consultancy environment.
• Experience delivering civil infrastructure designs, ideally across highways, drainage or external works.
• Experience using Civil 3D and Causeway Flow.
• Strong technical ability and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
• A proactive approach to design delivery and problem-solving.
• Experience managing design packages or taking technical responsibility for projects would be advantageous for Senior Project Engineer level.

The Opportunity

An established engineering consultancy is looking to appoint a Project Engineer or Senior Project Engineer to join its team in Watford.

This is an opportunity to join a well-established civils team working across a varied portfolio of projects, including industrial developments, rail infrastructure and private residential schemes.

The business is looking for an engineer with at least 3 years' experience who can contribute to technical delivery, work collaboratively with colleagues and take on increasing responsibility across a range of civil engineering projects.

The Role

• Delivering civil engineering designs across a variety of infrastructure projects

• Developing engineering solutions from initial design through to delivery
