We are looking for a Project Data Manager to lead the development, management and delivery of data standards and processes for the BFI’s Stories in Motion project. Working within the BFI’s Cataloguing Standard, you will provide guidance and support to project teams, ensuring consistent and high-quality data management across the programme. The role is responsible for delivering project reporting through the Collections Information Database (CID), as well as representing the Data and Digital Preservation Team at project meetings, championing best practice in data management and digital preservation.
‘Stories in Motion’ is a three-year programme designed to open the BFI National Archive to wider and diverse audiences, discover new collections, secure the UK’s at-risk videotape screen heritage, and build a resilient, specialist skilled and diverse workforce for the future. The project aims to:
