Job summary

Brand Energy & Infrastructure Services is seeking a cost controller to support day-to-day financial control on a major Aberdeen-area project. You will analyse proposals, assist with cost reporting, and help ensure budgeting adherence.

You will collaborate with project teams, prepare cost estimates, create invoices and cost reports, and contribute to Month End close and continuous improvement of cost control processes.

Qualifications

• Experience in cost control on large projects.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to prioritise and plan work to meet deadlines.
• Collaborative team player with cross-functional colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Assist with overseeing project costs throughout all phases.
• Prepare cost estimates by analysing proposals.
• Create invoice documents and cost reports for clients and internal use.
• Assist with reviewing contracts and purchase orders.
• Assist with confirmation, status and plan for job packages, hours and costs.
• Identify labour, material and time requirements and compute costs.
• Assist with Month End closing.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of the cost control function.
