Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Project Cost Consultant to support cost and commercial management across major infrastructure projects, including mobility and rail initiatives.

You will develop cost estimates, budgets and forecasting models, providing commercial insight throughout the project lifecycle and ensuring NEC contract compliance.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or commercial/ construction management.
• Professional qualification or working towards MRICS/MCICES.
• Experience delivering cost and commercial management on infrastructure projects.
• Experience with rail/ mobility projects and NEC contracts.
• Strong analytical, financial and stakeholder skills.

You will apply your specialized expertise and experience to manage project standards in cost, time, and quality. Key to your role is building strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, ensuring satisfaction and identifying opportunities to deliver value.Role Accountabilities:Support the delivery of cost and commercial management services across major infrastructure projects.Develop robust cost estimates, budgets and forecasting models to help projects achieve their financial objectives.Provide commercial insight throughout the project lifecycle, supporting informed decision-making and value optimisation.Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, particularly under NEC contracts.Analyse complex project and financial data, identifying risks, opportunities and actionable recommendations.Contribute to the continuous improvement of commercial processes, systems and ways of working.Build strong relationships with clients, stakeholders and project teams, becoming a trusted advisor and valued partner.Support the successful delivery of projects to agreed cost, programme and quality objectives.Qualifications & Experience:Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, Construction Management or a related discipline.Professionally qualified or working towards chartered status (MRICS, MCICES or equivalent).Experience delivering cost and commercial management services within infrastructure projects.Exposure to major rail, transportation or mobility programmes.Strong understanding and practical application of NEC contracts.Experience across both pre-contract and post-contract commercial management activities.Excellent analytical, financial, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.A proactive, collaborative approach with a passion for delivering value for clients.Why Arcadis?We can only achieve our goals when everyone is empowered to be their best.
