Job summary

Manchester Metropolitan University is seeking a Project Coordinator to join the IT Portfolio Delivery team and help drive the delivery of IT projects within the PMO. The role supports a flexible work arrangement with two to three days in the office and remote work for the remaining days.

You will coordinate project delivery activities, manage governance and reporting cycles, and maintain portfolio data to ensure consistent, efficient project delivery and continuous improvement across the PMO.

  • Excellent stakeholder management skills.

  • Support stakeholder communication and project meetings.

About The Team & Role

The IT Portfolio Delivery team is seeking a driven Project Coordinator to join the Portfolio Management Office (PMO). The PMO provides the structure, process and oversight needed to help teams deliver projects successfully and consistently across the organisation. This role is critical in ensuring the delivery of our IT & Digital Information Security Programme, while supporting and guiding stakeholders at all levels of the university. The role offers a flexible work arrangement where the successful candidate will work from the office for two to three days a week and remotely for the remaining working days. This approach balances the benefits of in-person collaboration, team engagement, and relationship building with the flexibility, autonomy, and improved work-life balance offered by remote working.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordination of IT project delivery activities.
