About the role

At Peabody, our purpose is to improve the quality of life for our residents. As a Project Coordinator within the Peabody Community Foundation (PCF), you’ll play a key role in supporting the delivery of grant streams, funded programmes and high-profile community initiatives that make a real difference to our communities.

This is a coordinating role at the heart of PCF’s work. You’ll support the management of internal grant programmes and funded projects from concept to completion, ensuring activity is well planned, delivered on time, and achieves its intended outcomes. Working closely with colleagues and partners across Peabody, you’ll help ensure programmes are safe, high quality and deliver maximum impact.

What you’ll do
  • Coordinate and support the delivery of PCF’s key grant streams and funded projects, ensuring clear plans, budgets, monitoring and reporting are in place
  • Support high-profile and seasonal initiatives such as the Food and Toy Appeal and partnership projects, working with colleagues to keep delivery on track
  • Administer internal grant processes, maintaining accurate records of applications, decisions, payments and outcomes
  • Act as a central point of coordination between PCF, funded partners and internal teams.
  • Track progress, identify risks and issues early, and support timely resolution.
  • Produce clear reports and presentations for a range of audiences, including internal updates and external briefings
  • Maintain a central record of active and completed grant-funded activity, supporting learning and continuous improvement
  • Build strong collaborative relationships with colleagues, partners and stakeholders across the organisation
  • Champion Peabody’s values and support the delivery of high-quality, innovative programmes for our communities
What you’ll bring
  • Experience coordinating projects involving multiple stakeholders
  • Excellent communication skills, including written, verbal, presentation and IT skills
  • Strong organisational skills with great attention to detail and the ability to manage a varied workload
  • Experience producing reports and presentations that clearly communicate key messages
  • Ability to analyse data and information from multiple sources and draw conclusions or make recommendations
  • A collaborative and supportive approach, with the confidence to know when to support and when to push back and hold the line
  • Calm, methodical and delivery-focused, particularly when working under pressure
  • Demonstrable experience in grant management
  • Commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion, and to continuous learning and development.

At Peabody, we are guided by our values: Be Kind, Do the Right Thing, Love New Ideas, Celebrate Diversity, Keep Our Promises, and Pull Together. You’ll be part of a supportive, inclusive team that is passionate about delivering meaningful impact in our communities.
