Which is why we are investing over £2billion into construction projects over the next five years to improve the services we provide.

Within our Capital Delivery and Commercial department, we are looking for a Project Coordinator to join the Capital Design team in Derby.

Are you an experienced information handler, who can organise and communicate effectively across both the project and wider team?

Do you have strong Microsoft Excel skills?Would you be interested in building your career in a role which will give you variety, challenge and plenty of scope for learning? This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to build their career in Project Design Management.

Sounds interesting? Then, read on.

EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW

As a Project Coordinator you’ll be playing a significantly important role in the successful delivery of projects. You’ll work alongside the project design team to track and dispense the information needed to do their jobs effectively, alongside keeping the project running smoothly throughout the design phase of a project.

You’ll be responsible for gathering relevant site information to support the progress of the projects. You will also assist with drafting business cases for governance approval and drafting service orders for consultant contract award. You will assist the design managers with maintaining their programmes; liaising with design engineers regarding design acceptance of deliverables. There will also be additional general administrative tasks to support the wider team.

You`ll have experience of producing data and preparing monthly performance reports using various statistics, as well as experience of working within a team environment.

As a Project Coordinator you’ll be well organised and have meticulous attention to detail, as well as excellent communication, report writing and presentation skills.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Of course, it’s important that we attract the right skill sets, and those with the right experience but we value character, positivity and a caring attitude in equal weight.

We want people who show up and roll their sleeves up. Restless spirits who are ready to be part of something bigger, who care, who really care... because when you really care, you’ll go above and beyond. When you really care you don’t just talk about it, you do more.

We welcome people from all walks of life and celebrate individuality as we know diverse minds, experiences and backgrounds help us to learn and better serve our communities. We employ thousands of people from across our community who really care about what they do. Because that is how we do what we do.

And when it comes to inclusion, we’re making sure we keep up the progress with our wonderful working groups – LGBTQ+, Women in Operations & STEM, Disability and Ethnicity, who help us do just that.

We do more, because we care.

WHAT’S IN IR FOR YOU

It’s not just a job you’ll get here, you’ll get a career too. We have a range of benefits that reward and recognise great work and award-winning training to ensure you reach your potential. And we’ll also help you play your part in looking after the environment and the community in which we live.
