About the role

As a Project Control Manager (Power BI), you'll leverage advanced Controls Analytics solutions to help clients make data-driven decisions for project control and performance management. Your responsibilities will include developing dashboards and reports, monitoring KPIs, and providing insights to stakeholders. The role also involves predictive analytics, root-cause analysis, risk management, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. Proficiency in Power BI, SQL, Python, and familiarity with PRISM or Primavera are essential.

Key responsibilities
  • Develop and manage dashboards and reports for project health monitoring
  • Create predictive analytics models and conduct root-cause analyses
  • Collaborate on risk models and integrate findings into project forecasts
  • Engage with project teams to tailor analytics solutions and communicate insights effectively
  • Ensure adherence to industry standards and stay updated on analytics advancements
  • Utilize tools like Power BI, SQL, Python for data transformation and visualization
  • Interpret complex data, identify issues, and generate actionable insights
  • Convey insights clearly to stakeholders through presentations and reports
  • Understand project controls disciplines and techniques such as EVM and variance analysis
Minimum requirements
  • Full right to work in the UK
  • Hybrid work arrangement: 2 days in Birmingham office, 3 days remote
  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Engineering, Project Controls, Finance, or related
  • At least 5 years of experience in analytics or project controls within infrastructure, construction, or energy sectors
  • Experience developing analytics solutions and supporting data-led decisions on large projects
  • Proficiency in Power BI, Tableau, Excel, Python, SQL, or DAX
