Job Description

Base salary: £40,750 pa to c.£50,950 pa depending on skills and experience. In addition, we offer a flexible benefits fund of 20%, paid on top of the base salary and fully pensionable, along with a range of competitive benefits — check the Benefits section on our website.

Responsibilities
  1. Develop and maintain an integrated baseline across scope, time, cost, risk, and quality, and track performance for projects and contracts.
  2. Manage, support, and coordinate project controls activities within the supply chain to ensure accuracy and quality of project data.
  3. Analyze data and reports to provide insights and identify trends and risks for decision-making.
  4. Correlate schedule, cost, quality, and risk data to support program delivery and performance management.
  5. Review supply chain program submissions and update client schedules.
  6. Manage risks within a development or delivery area, leveraging SME advice to address delays and challenges.
  7. Support change management processes, assessing and managing impacts to the baseline.
  8. Coordinate period reporting cycles, ensure compliance, and share lessons learned within the Project Controls community.
  9. Ensure adherence to PMO and Project Controls policies, processes, and standards.
  10. Provide line management, performance management, and objective setting for direct reports.
  11. Promote and embed Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) initiatives.
Skills and Knowledge
  • Prioritize objectives, analyze data, and support rationales.
  • Effective communication and facilitation skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and produce reports.
  • Problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of core Project Controls disciplines, including schedule, cost, risk, and change management.
  • Experience with project controls systems like Primavera P6, Prism, CEMAR.
  • Experience in project performance reviews and governance forums.
