Job summary

Trevett Services are recruiting a Senior Project Controller for a UK defence, engineering and technology organisation, based in Bristol or Malvern.

The role requires extensive project control experience in defence, SC clearance (transferable), and the ability to manage budgets, schedules and reporting within a hybrid working pattern (3 days on site). Salary £38,700–£43,000 DOE plus benefits.

Qualifications

• Defence domain project control experience is essential.
• Active SC Clearance transferable – essential.
• Experience with project budgets, schedules, forecasts and reporting.
• Knowledge of Agile, Waterfall or Hybrid methodologies.
• Proficiency with Oracle.
• Excellent analytical and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities.
• ECITB PPC or PPC qualification desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain project schedules, including resource planning and management.
• Monitor and control project budgets, actual costs and forecasts.
• Identify cost variances, risks and areas of underperformance, recommending corrective actions.
• Work closely with Project Managers and Resource Managers to ensure effective project delivery.
• Analyse project data and produce accurate performance reports covering cost, schedule and risk.
• Manage project changes, updating plans and forecasts accordingly.
• Ensure compliance with project governance processes and procedures.

Working Pattern: Hybrid – 3 days per week on site

Clearance: Active, transferable SC Clearance essential

Trevett Services are working with a leading UK defence, engineering and technology organisation to recruit an experienced Senior Project Controller based in either Bristol or Malvern.
