As we continue to grow, we are now seeking to strengthen our PMO Team with a Project Controller in our Stirling or Glasgow office.

The PMO provides project management support across the business, with a particular focus on project financial management. Its services include project setup, invoicing, Work in Progress (WIP) management, budget oversight, forecasting, process optimisation and training. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with experience in project management, project controls or financial administration, together with strong numerical and analytical skills and the confidence to support the financial performance of live projects.

The role will support the PMO and project managers with:
  • Completing project setup, maintenance and closure activities in the ERP system to ensure accurate records throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Supporting effective project financial control by maintaining accurate and timely budget tracking, cost monitoring, forecasting, invoicing and WIP information.
  • Coordinating inter-company input from other Natural Power group companies and supporting Project Managers with the associated processes.
  • Working closely with the Finance team to provide accurate project financial information and resolve related queries promptly.
The ideal candidates will be able to demonstrate:
  • Relevant HNC / HND qualification, Accountancy Degree, or equivalent practical experience, with at least 2 years’ experience in project financial management, project controls, or a similar role with significant financial responsibility.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, particularly Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
  • A flexible and positive approach, to be able to manage tasks concurrently and react effectively within short timeframes.
  • An ability to work as part of a team, and equally to show initiative, ability, and confidence to make decisions independently.
  • Excellent communication and people skills to effectively engage with and manage colleague and client/stakeholder relationships.

This is a permanent role, working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

We will offer an engaging, collaborative and fast-paced environment alongside an excellent benefits package, including generous annual leave, flexible working, employee assistance programme, personal insurances, health plans, discounts and salary sacrifice options.
