We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to lead strategic digital transformation projects across the Fred. Olsen group, with a key focus on Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Finance, and People systems. This is a hands‑on delivery role responsible for managing complex, cross‑functional business and technology change. You will be accountable for delivering projects to agreed time, cost and quality standards, ensuring benefits are realised and outcomes align with business strategy, security requirements and regulatory expectations.

You’ll work across multiple business functions, technology teams and external partners, providing strong governance, stakeholder management and leadership throughout the full project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
Project Delivery
  • Deliver strategic transformation projects across ERP, Finance and People systems within the Fred. Olsen group.
  • Lead and deliver corporate services change initiatives including:
    • Natural Power ERP Transformation
    • Group People Systems Transformation
    • Group Finance Transformation
  • Manage complex business and IT projects either independently or as part of a broader programme of work.
Planning & Governance
  • Define project scope, objectives, benefits, success criteria and delivery approach with senior stakeholders.
  • Develop and manage project budgets, timelines, resource plans, risks, assumptions, issues and dependencies.
  • Apply the most suitable delivery methodology (Agile, Waterfall or hybrid) based on project context.
  • Establish and run governance forums (steering groups, working groups), ensuring clear reporting and escalation.
Cross‑Functional Leadership
  • Work closely with Finance, HR, IT and business operations to ensure process, data and organisational change impacts are fully understood and addressed.
  • Lead multi‑disciplinary project teams: BAs, Process Analysts, Solution Architects, Testers, SMEs and business stakeholders.
  • Manage third‑party providers, integrators and implementation partners to ensure successful delivery and contract compliance.
Business Change & Technology Enablement
  • Oversee change management activities, including communications, training and business readiness.
  • Ensure successful execution of data migration, integration, testing, cutover and transition‑to‑BAU activities.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of delivery standards and best practices in collaboration with the Head of Delivery.
  • Proven experience delivering medium‑to‑large scale business and IT transformation projects.
  • Hands‑on experience delivering ERP, HRMS and Finance system implementations.
  • Strong background managing MS Dynamics 365 (ERP/CRM) programmes – this will be the initial focus.
  • Skilled in Agile (Scrum, Kanban, iterative delivery) and Waterfall, with the ability to justify hybrid approaches.
  • Strong leadership experience managing multi‑disciplinary teams and influencing senior stakeholders.
  • Excellent planning, organisational and risk management skills, with the ability to manage concurrent workstreams.
  • Demonstrable experience managing budgets, business cases and vendor contracts.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, facilitation and conflict‑resolution skills.
  • Experience delivering change into operational environments, ensuring minimal disruption and effective transition to BAU.
  • Experience with Finance system implementations (e.g., core finance, procurement, project accounting).
  • Experience delivering HR/People systems (HCM, time & attendance, talent management) such as HiBob or BambooHR.
  • Background in consultancy or the energy/renewables sector.
Qualifications & Experience
Personal Attributes
  • An agile, strategic thinker who can translate vision into pragmatic, value‑driven delivery plans.
  • Collaborative, open and confident, with the ability to build trust quickly across diverse teams.
  • Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment with evolving priorities.
  • Strong sense of ownership, accountability and delivery focus.

  • Flexible and hybrid working options
