Your impact
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our growing Project Controls team. The role is to deliver project planning and scheduling into our manufacturing and spares projects for the Typhoon platform.
This is achieved through supporting the Integrated Project Team in the management of resources and progression in the schedules, and producing reports and updates in line with the project monthly cadence to support the understanding of progress on the Project and effective decision making.
What you’ll do as a Project Controller
Deliver Project Controls on Projects through the application of consistent processes, methods, governance and provision of guidance to the wider Integrated Project Team (IPT) in line with Leonardo processes
Ownership of the Project Schedules - drive and promote optimal schedule quality and best practice management techniques
Apply resource scheduling techniques to optimise schedules, identify and resolve conflicts
Application of Schedule Risk Analysis techniques to the appropriate level including identification, methods of analysis and recommendations for project team on how to manage/mitigate
Apply Project Controls metrics and measures (inc EV) and reports to IPT / Programme Controls Manage on the outcomes, alongside recommendations to address issues
Actively contribute to IPT and Business area Project reviews (PPRP, Schedule Reviews etc) through delivering the Project Controls inputs
Conduct what if analysis to drive decision making and risk mitigation
Build and maintain good working relationships with all functions across applicable Projects in order to influence project activities
What you'll bring
Practical and demonstrable experience of Project Planning and Control principles
Proficient on SAP/Primavera Tool for planning and project management elements or similar planning tool.
Experience using techniques and procedures e.g. Earned Value, Work Breakdown Structure and Network Planning
Proficient on SAP/Primavera Tool for planning and project management elements or similar planning tool.
Understanding of the project lifecycle and experience in Planning and Execution Phases
Ability to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders, using data and analysis to support line of reasoning
Ability to work independently within well defined procedures and require minimal supervision
