Connect Appointments are seeking an experienced Project/Contract Manager, within the Engineering sector, to join and strengthen our client's existing team in the North East of England.

With a strong and varied customer base across various industries, our client is a major independent door company specializing in the manufacture, installation, repair, and maintenance of all types of Industrial Doors and Shutters, Steel Fabrication, and more.

Salary: £40,000 per annum (DOE)

Role Overview

As a Project/Contract Manager, you will be responsible for planning, monitoring, and supervising the repairs team within a fast-paced environment. Your duties will include, but are not limited to:

1. Liaising with customers to ensure projects are completed to their satisfaction
2. Providing estimates and quotes based on client drawings and meetings
3. Producing production drawings and managing the fabrication section
4. Managing the project team
5. Accounting for project costs, time, and budget
6. Mitigating project risks
7. Conducting site inspections

Candidate Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have previous experience in a project management role, along with the following skills and traits:
