Equans is looking for a Contract Manager to join our team in the North East region on a permanent basis, covering a number of mobile contracts.

This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week. The package includes a competitive salary, company vehicle or allowance, bonus, and benefits.

What will you deliver?
  • Ensure compliance with all statutory and company procedures across stakeholder groups.
  • Manage risks related to SHEQ (safety, health, environment, and quality) through RAMS, PPE, training, and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Develop effective relationships with operational personnel, partners, suppliers, and subcontractors to improve performance.
  • Build meaningful relationships with the Client and related organizations.
  • Manage service delivery across multiple locations, ensuring resource collaboration.
  • Maintain a clear business plan for the contract.
  • Set, monitor, and control SLAs and KPIs, seeking opportunities to add value.
  • Ensure mobile personnel meet SLAs and KPIs related to technical and service aspects.
  • Coordinate with mobile teams on PPM schedules and reactive works.
  • Oversee financial performance and compliance, escalating issues as needed.
  • Develop and train direct reports through regular reviews.

  • Experience in contract management and building services legislation
  • Background in Facilities Management with technical expertise
  • HVAC qualifications and experience
  • Ability to think clearly in extreme circumstances
  • Relevant H&S, M&E, Water Systems, and Legionella qualifications
  • Experience with CAFM systems and a full clean driving license
  • Stakeholder interaction skills
  • Self-motivated, team player, adaptable
