Project Coordinator

Alpine F1 Team has an opportunity to join our Programme Management Team, working directly on key projects for car development and modification. We are looking to add to our excellent team with motivated individuals who will significantly contribute to our relentless pursuit of excellence.

The role is based at our facility in Enstone, Oxfordshire.

The Role

Reporting to a Project Manager, this role will oversee planning and delivery of Aero wind tunnel and track-related projects, supporting planning and production meetings to enable cross-functional alignment.

You will work with the Aero projects team to ensure the successful delivery of Wind Tunnel development projects, collaborating with Senior Engineers and Production Managers to align project priorities.

Key responsibilities include:

1. Planning and scheduling Formula 1 projects in accordance with high-level programme plans within your assigned section.
2. Proactively communicating across Aero, Engineering, and Operations through planning meetings and status updates.
3. Working with key stakeholders to reduce lead times for Wind Tunnel development projects.
4. Managing stakeholders to ensure project delivery as per plans, including creating mitigation and resolution strategies.
5. Developing comprehensive project plans involving all stakeholders.
6. Utilizing internal systems to ensure plans are implemented within Production & Technical areas as per schedules.

The Person

We seek candidates with the following attributes:

Technical skills required include:

• Understanding processes within Aerodynamics, Engineering, and Operations, ensuring effective information flow.
• Ability to identify and address operational limitations and bottlenecks.
• Knowledge of planning requirements in Formula 1 car design and development.
• High-level planning and organizational skills to manage development priorities and ensure timely delivery.
• Previous experience in a similar role and familiarity with Project Management tools.
• PRINCE or equivalent Programme Management certification is desirable but not essential.
