Job summary

Kelly Group is seeking a proactive Project Coordinator to support cabling and splicing workstreams in a fast-paced network build environment. You will work with project managers, site agents and clients to ensure delivery targets are met and issues are resolved promptly.

Responsibilities

  • Review and approve uploaded job packs on the internal database.
  • Submit DFEs to client for Traffic Management where missing rates appear in the job pack.
  • Coordinate scheduling of cabling activities with the build plan.
  • Record and share job updates with the client through the DBT system daily.
  • Participate in weekly client calls, provide updates on non-fluid works and drive issue resolution.
  • Collaborate with onsite supervisors to resolve site-related issues.
  • Escalate blockers to the project manager when required.
  • Follow up with internal departments to keep orders progressing without delay.
  • Manage email correspondence, prioritising and responding promptly to ensure timely communication.

Job description

We are seeking a proactive and delivery focused Project Coordinator to support the successful delivery of cabling & splicing workstreams within a fast-paced network build environment.

Working closely with project managers, site agents, and clients, you will coordinate works through to completion ensuring challenges are overcome and delivery targets are achieved.

In your role you will be responsible for:

  • Reviewing and approving newly uploaded job packs on the internal database.
  • Submitting DFE’s to the client for Traffic Management for any missing rates identified within the job pack.
  • Coordinating the scheduling of cabling activities, ensuring timelines are aligned and delivered in coordination with build plan.
  • Recording and sharing job updates with the client through their DBT system daily to provide full visibility of order progress.
  • Participating in weekly calls with the client, providing updates on non-fluid works and driving resolution of any issues.
  • Collaborating with onsite supervisors to support with the resolution of site related issues.
  • Escalating onsite issues or project blockers to project manager when required.
  • Proactively following up with internal departments to resolve issues promptly and ensure orders continue progressing without delay.
  • Effectively manage email correspondence by monitoring incoming messages, prioritising queries and responding promptly and professionally to ensure timely communication with clients and colleagues.

What we require from you:

  • Previous experience in a coordination, planning or delivery role within telecommunications or a similar utilities environment.
  • Experience coordinating field-based teams, ideally cabling and/or fibre splicing teams.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple jobs, teams and priorities simultaneously.
  • Understanding of Streetworks processes and permitting requirements.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proactive approach to problem solving.
  • Ability to challenge constructively and escalating issues where required
  • Delivery focused mindset.
  • High level of accountability and ownership.
