We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Co-Ordinator to support a range of major works projects, including planned improvements, refurbishment works, mechanical and electrical upgrades, and fire safety projects.

Working as part of our Major Works Pre-Construction Team, you'll help get projects ready for delivery. This includes coordinating surveys, managing project information, supporting budgets and procurement activities, and ensuring key project documentation is in place.

Reporting to the Regional Programme Manager, you'll support several projects at the same time, helping to keep programmes on track and ensuring data and records are accurate and up to date.

You'll work closely with teams across Asset Strategy, Building Safety, Housing Management, Compliance and Commercial, as well as contractors, consultants and residents, helping to ensure projects are well planned and successfully delivered.

The role will involve supporting project planning, risk management, resident consultation, compliance requirements, data control and the coordination of project information from development through to completion.

This is a great opportunity for someone who is organised, enjoys working with people, has strong attention to detail and wants to develop their career in project management, building safety and major work

Your impact in the role:

This is an exciting opportunity to support the development of major works projects that improve homes, enhance building safety and deliver long-term value for residents.

As a Project Co-Ordinator, you will help turn asset data, surveys and programme information into deliverable projects. Working across planned investment, refurbishment, mechanical and electrical, complex works and fire remediation programmes, you will support projects from development through to successful delivery.

You will coordinate a range of pre-construction activities, including surveys, validations, planning, budgeting, procurement, specifications, leaseholder consultation and project documentation. You'll help ensure projects are fully prepared, data is accurate, risks are identified and all information is in place for delivery teams and contractors.

Working closely with Asset Strategy, Building Safety, Housing Management, Commercial, Compliance and Regional teams, you'll play a key role in bringing people together to deliver successful outcomes. You'll also liaise with contractors, consultants, residents and leaseholders, helping to maintain effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.

We're looking for a proactive and organised individual with experience in project coordination, construction, property services or major works. You'll have strong communication skills, excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Experience of fire remediation, building safety projects or social housing would be advantageous. Most importantly, you'll enjoy working collaboratively, solving problems and helping deliver high-quality projects for residents

What you'll bring:
  • Experience coordinating construction, maintenance, refurbishment or fire safety projects.
  • Ability to manage several projects at the same time and keep them on track.
  • Good understanding of project planning, budgeting, procurement and risk management.
  • Knowledge of building safety, health and safety regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Strong communication skills and confidence working with contractors, consultants, residents and colleagues.
  • Good financial awareness and an understanding of delivering value for money.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage project information, data and documentation.
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and project or asset management systems.
  • A proactive approach to problem solving and identifying project risks.
  • A qualification in construction, project management or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience within social housing, planned works or building safety projects would be an advantage
