ACS Staffing Solutions is seeking a Project Co-ordinator (Manager Designate) in Corby to join its growing Contract Manufacturing team. The role involves coordinating varied projects, ensuring they are delivered to objectives, with broader exposure to project management, manufacturing, and commercial analysis.

We are looking for a commercially minded graduate with 1–2 years of experience, strong Excel skills, and the ability to work across departments and with external stakeholders.

Project Co-ordinator - Manager Designate

Corby

Hours - Monday to Friday full time

Salary - circa £30k

An established, family-owned international manufacturing business is seeking a Project Co-ordinator (Manager Designate) to join its growing Contract Manufacturing team.

This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded individual looking to develop a career across project management, manufacturing, commercial analysis and general business operations.

Working closely with the Contract Manufacturing Director, you will take responsibility for coordinating a variety of bespoke and ongoing projects, ensuring they are effectively managed and delivered against agreed objectives.

The role would suit a Business or Engineering graduate with some workplace experience who is keen to develop their commercial and project management career within a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

Projects will vary depending on business requirements and may include:

• New product introductions
• Product range rationalisation
• Product margin optimisation
• Stock management
• Customer introductions
• Customer service agreements
• Pricing analysis
• Sales and profit analysis
• Regulatory and certification projects
• Coordinating projects from initial requirements through to successful delivery
• Gathering, analysing and presenting commercial and operational data
• Working with internal departments, customers and suppliers to keep projects on track
• Supporting the identification of opportunities to improve processes, margins and commercial performance

About You

We are looking for someone who is organised, commercially aware and analytical, with the confidence to work across different departments and communicate with a range of stakeholders.

You will ideally have:

• A degree in Business, Engineering or a related discipline
• Around 1–2 years' workplace experience, or equivalent relevant experience
• Experience within a manufacturing environment and an understanding of related processes
• Strong numerical and analytical ability
• Excellent IT skills, particularly Microsoft Excel
• An understanding of financial and budget considerations
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent organisation and project coordination skills
• The ability to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team
• The proactive and flexible approach
• The willingness and ability to learn new skills quickly
