We’d all like amazing work to do, and real work/life balance. That’s waiting for you right here. Supply Chain and Logistics are the engine room for getting thousands of products from farms and factories, through the business and to our millions of customers every day. We plan around events from barbecue weekends to Sunday roasts, and who wants oven-ready cauliflower cheese to those who prefer to make it from scratch. Insight and data are everything. But so is judgement — if there’s an issue or ambiguity anywhere, we’re the first to spot it. There’s a big transformation going on. That calls for people who champion change, bring others with them, collaborate and communicate. Because those people can go a very long way.

Join our team at Sainsbury's as a Project Change Manager and be part of a collaborative environment where you will play a crucial role in the multiyear programme to replace Sainsbury's Food WMS across the network. As a key member of the Logistics Systems team, you will have the opportunity to lead change initiatives, work closely with stakeholders, and ensure successful implementation of new systems. With a focus on continuous improvement, stakeholder management, and utilising your strong supply / logistics / warehousing systems background, you will contribute to driving positive change and achieving business goals. With a supportive work culture, opportunities for growth, and the chance to make a real impact, joining us means being part of a team that values ownership, innovation, and collaboration while providing the resources and support needed for your professional development.

What you'll do

As a Project Change Manager at Sainsbury's within the Logistics Systems team, you will play a crucial role in driving and managing the full change cycle for a multiyear programme to replace Sainsbury's Food Warehouse Management System (WMS) across the network. Your responsibilities will include defining and managing the people implications and change interventions for various logistics systems initiatives, collaborating with stakeholders to ensure successful implementation, developing and coordinating training and communication plans, and monitoring progress to ensure a successful delivery. Additionally, you will work closely with on-site operations within depots and Sainsbury's Tech teams to implement the right tools, training, and processes for effective change management.

Who you are

As a Project Change Manager for Sainsbury's Logistics division, you are a seasoned professional with a strong background in Change Management tools, techniques, and methodologies, demonstrating best practise experience in driving successful business and technology change initiatives - preferably working within large scale logistics and fulfilment environment Your ability to lead and influence small to medium teams, coupled with strong stakeholder management skills, enables you to coordinate multiple activities and workstreams effectively. With a focus on continuous improvement, a never say never attitude, and excellent communication skills, you excel in identifying the right approaches to change, challenging the norm, and gaining buy-in for transformative initiatives within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
