Project Assistant | 8098 | Secondment opportunity/temporary contract for 18 months | Part-time 18.5 hours, 2.5 days per week | £25,584 to £27,269 per annum pro rata | Grade E | Cromer Museum
We are seeking an enthusiastic, creative, and well-organized individual to support a National Heritage Lottery Fund project focused on researching and promoting the geology and fossil collectors of Cromer. The role involves creating digital resources for Cromer Museum's Geology Gallery to enhance access to the collection.
You will collaborate with the Curator of Cromer Museum and the Chair of the Friends of Cromer Museum to coordinate and monitor the project's delivery, including its timeline and budget.
The role involves developing and delivering collections research and digital resources as part of The National Lottery Heritage Fund project. The ideal candidate will be motivated, efficient, personable, and possess excellent IT skills. Strong communication skills, the ability to prioritize workloads, and a team-oriented approach are essential. Initiative and good interpersonal skills are also required.
Experience working in a museum environment is desirable, as well as experience with externally funded projects or volunteer coordination.
