About the role

We’re looking for a Project Assistant to join our team at Futurice, on a fixed term contract until the end of the year. You’d be working with our collaborative, cross-functional product teams to deliver intuitive, impactful and accessible digital solutions. You will bring an eagerness to learn, roll up your sleeves and help teams deliver good work in whatever way is needed. You’ll have a chance to work in diverse teams and learn and develop a wide range of skills which may eventually lead to roles in Agile Delivery Management, Product Management or Strategy.

  • You're confident using (or learning) tools like Google Workspace, Miro, and Jira
  • You take initiative, communicate clearly, and ask questions when needed
  • You're curious about digital delivery and keen to learn more about how projects run
  • You enjoy working in collaborative teams and exploring how AI can boost productivity
  • You're always looking to grow and expand your skills in the digital space
What you will be responsible for
  • Assist in maintaining project plans, task lists, RAID logs, status reports etc..
  • Schedule meetings, workshops, and team check-ins.
  • Help prepare agendas and document meeting notes and action items.
  • Support onboarding of new team members and manage shared documentation systems.
  • Monitor timesheet submissions and basic reporting requirements.
  • Share reminders and follow-ups to keep everyone aligned and aware of upcoming deadlines.
  • Help ensure information flows smoothly between team members and stakeholders.
  • Use tools like Jira, Trello, Confluence, or Google Workspace to maintain project boards and documents.
  • Assist in creating and maintaining project dashboards or summaries.
  • Learn about agile, waterfall, and hybrid delivery approaches by supporting experienced project managers.
What we care about

Our Culture

We are human first. Mutual respect and trust is essential, as is curiosity, talent and energy. All team members need to be self-starters and have the desire to be part of a low-hierarchy work culture built on a foundation of Nordic straightforwardness.

How we work

We’re a talented team of designers, strategists, and software engineers working hard to create a progressive environment, culture, and set of capabilities. In the UK we operate a remote-first setup, centred on London, with regular days spent working together IRL as a full team. We take pride in our craft and a commitment to a people-first, one-team mentality.

Flexibility

Not a morning person? Need to pick the kids up from school? We believe in well-rested people doing concentrated, impactful work and offer flexible working hours and locations.

What we can offer you
  • Competitive salary (benchmarked externally and internally for salary fairness), our junior-level banding is £30,000-£40,000 (depending on experience)
  • Company pension contribution of 6%
  • Private health insurance with WPA
  • 25 days of holidays + plus bank holidays and a day off for your birthday too. We offer a long service annual leave scheme of an additional day per year after three years’ unbroken service, up to a maximum of 30 days
  • A tiered parental leave policy, which offers 16 weeks maternity full pay and 4 weeks partner full pay (dependent on your tenure)
  • A learning budget of £1200 per year for self initiated learning, books and training courses
  • EV salary sacrifice (dependent on your tenure)
  • A remote-first setup with one day per month to co-work together in London
  • A flexible wellbeing budget of £50 per month (via a Juno platform subscription)

Don’t worry about whether you’re a 100% fit! Take a look at what we do and what we've done and get in touch. Don’t just tell us where you’ve worked or studied, tell us who you are, where you are heading, and why you want to join us!
