Research Assistant/Research Fellow and Project Coordinator, London
This position requires expertise in quantitative, qualitative, and/or mixed methods public health research, with an interest in interdisciplinarity and co-production. Responsibilities include leading project coordination, synthesising interdisciplinary work in infectious diseases, engaging with communities and stakeholders, organising research events, disseminating findings, and grant writing.
The role offers career development opportunities, including support for developing research ideas, contributing to projects and grant proposals, teaching, and building a cross-sectoral network in epidemic response.
This is a full-time position starting in April for an initial period of 18 months.
Appointment is at Grade 6B unless the candidate holds a PhD or equivalent experience, in which case Grade 7 applies.

The ideal candidate has experience with scoping/systematic reviews of qualitative/mixed methods and project coordination. Strong organisational, interpersonal, and communication skills are essential. A PhD or master’s degree in epidemiology, public health, data science, medical humanities, sociology, anthropology, or related fields, or equivalent experience, is required.
