Project Architect & Design Lead

Job summary

The Architect is responsible for and manages all aspects of projects from inception through to completion and supports the Project Lead at all stages of a project.

Based in Greater London on a full-time basis, you will lead design development, coordinate consultants, monitor progress and client liaison to deliver projects on time and within budget. RIBA Part III and strong AutoCAD/BIM/Revit skills are essential.

Experience across the complete design and construction process is preferred.

Qualifications

• RIBA Part III qualification.
• Excellent knowledge of all RIBA stages.
• Experience of running more than one project simultaneously.
• Strong understanding of client liaison and requirements.
• Knowledge of CDM, health & safety, and insurance considerations.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparation of method statements and design proposals.
• Develop project plans with clear timescales, scope, costs and resources.
• Set up internal project teams and coordinate external consultants.
• Attend site meetings and monitor construction progress on site.
• Carry out regular project reporting to Project Lead and stakeholders.
