Job summary

Brock Carmichael Architects is seeking an experienced Project Architect for our Liverpool studio. You will lead projects from initial concept through to technical delivery, working within a collaborative multidisciplinary team on a diverse portfolio of commissions.

We value design excellence, strong technical understanding and a proactive, team-oriented approach. The role offers mentoring from partners, career progression support, and exposure to a wide range of projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects from concept design through technical delivery.
• Produce high-quality drawings, presentations and technical info.
• Develop creative design solutions aligned with client briefs.
• Coordinate with consultants and multidisciplinary teams.
• Attend client, design team and site meetings.
• Prepare planning, Building Regulations and construction information.
• Collaborate to deliver projects on programme and within budget.
• Contribute ideas to improve projects and the practice.

We're looking for an experienced Project Architect to join our Liverpool studio. You'll play a key role in leading projects from concept through to completion, working within a collaborative multidisciplinary team on a diverse portfolio of exciting commissions.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Leading projects from concept design through to technical delivery.
• Producing high-quality drawings, presentations and technical information.
• Developing creative design solutions that respond to client briefs.
• Coordinating with consultants and multidisciplinary teams.
• Attending client, design team and site meetings.
• Developing Planning, Building Regulations and construction information.
• Working collaboratively to deliver projects on programme and within budget.
• Contributing ideas that improve both projects and the wider practice.

What We’re Looking For

• Excellent design ability with a strong technical understanding.
• Proficient in industry-standard architectural and technical software, with the ability to produce high-quality design and technical information
• Strong presentation, communication and organisational skills.
• A collaborative attitude and willingness to learn.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• The ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Passion for sustainable, high-quality architecture.
• Experience across a variety of project sectors would be advantageous.
