Job summary

Penguin Recruitment Ltd. is seeking an experienced Project Architect to join a Cardiff-based practice. You will lead design and delivery from concept through to completion, coordinating with clients, consultants and contractors.

A strong Revit workflow and ARB registration are essential to succeed in this role. The successful candidate will work on a mix of residential, retail, leisure and other sectors, contributing to the full project lifecycle and maintaining high standards.

Qualifications

• ARB-registered Architect required.
• Experience in an architectural practice essential.
• Demonstrable experience delivering projects across RIBA stages.
• Good understanding of UK Building Regulations and planning procedures.
• Proficiency in Revit required and used in project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Manage the successful delivery of projects across a range of RIBA stages.
• Progress architectural designs from concept to details.
• Prepare, coordinate and review architectural/technical information.
• Lead production of drawings, specifications and construction information.
• Coordinate planning, Building Regulations and other statutory requirements.
• Manage relationships with consultants, contractors and project teams.
• Participate in client, consultant and project meetings.
• Maintain clear communication with clients and stakeholders.
• Track project progression, quality, programme and deadlines.
• Support technical delivery and project completion to a high standard.
• Contribute to practice growth and mentor junior team members.
• Work across diverse portfolio including residential, retail, industrial, leisure and veterinary.

A respected architectural practice based in Cardiff is looking to appoint an experienced Project Architect to join its expanding team. Requirements

• Qualified and ARB-registered Architect
• Previous experience within an architectural practice
• Demonstrable experience delivering projects across several RIBA stages
• Good understanding of UK Building Regulations and planning procedures
• Strong proficiency in Revit
• Sound technical, construction and detailing knowledge
• Strong design skills with a keen eye for quality and detail
• Experience coordinating consultants and multidisciplinary project teams
• Excellent communication, presentation and organisational abilities
• Able to manage competing priorities, project workloads and deadlines
• Comfortable working autonomously while contributing effectively to a team environment
