Job Description:

Watlow is a global industrial technology and manufacturing leader providing engineering expertise and thermal products for industries such as semiconductor processing, environmental chambers, energy, medical, and foodservice equipment. Since 2022, Eurotherm has been part of Watlow.

Role Overview:

The Project Application Engineer will deliver process control system solutions, including SCADA and process control systems, across all project phases such as requirements gathering, documentation, configuration, testing, commissioning, and training.

Work is hybrid – 3 days in the office per week.

Responsibilities:

• Define system requirements with customers
• Design automation systems including enclosures, networking, instrumentation, and supervisory systems
• Create Functional and Test Specifications
• Implement control and SCADA applications
• Conduct system tests and commissioning
• Support technical and sales activities
• Collaborate with team members to ensure project success
• Coordinate with Technical Support and Field Service Engineers
• Mentor junior staff
• Visit customers for system start-up, commissioning, support, and training

Qualifications and Attributes:

• Experience implementing control systems and related services
• Degree in Control and Systems Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
• Experience with SCADA, especially Aveva System Platform
• Ability to produce specifications and engineering documentation
• Strong business and technical skills
• Effective team player and communicator
• Analytical and planning skills
• Willingness to travel occasionally
