Job Description:

Watlow is a global industrial technology and manufacturing leader providing engineering expertise and thermal products across industries such as semiconductor processing, environmental chambers, energy, diesel emissions, medical, and foodservice equipment. Role Overview:

The Project Application Engineer will deliver process control system solutions, including SCADA and process control systems, throughout all project phases—requirements gathering, documentation, configuration, testing, commissioning, and training.

This position offers a hybrid work model—3 days in the office per week.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with customers to define system requirements
• Design automation systems, including enclosures, networking, instrumentation, and supervisory systems
• Create Functional and Test Specifications
• Implement control and SCADA application software
• Conduct system testing
• Assist with system commissioning
• Provide technical and sales support
• Work effectively within a team, achieving objectives using SMART goals
• Coordinate with Technical Support and Field Service Engineers on projects
• Mentor junior team members
• Visit customers for system start-up, commissioning, emergency restoration, training, and technical support

Qualifications and Attributes:

• Proven experience in control systems implementation and related services
• Bachelor's degree in Control and Systems Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields
• Experience with SCADA systems, specifically Aveva System Platform
• Ability to develop Functional and Test Specifications and perform application engineering
• Strong business and technical acumen
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills
• Analytical and planning skills
• Willingness to travel occasionally
