Job summary

OCU is delivering major power infrastructure projects across substations, civils, cabling, and overhead line networks. As a Project Coordinator, you'll support project teams, ensuring activities are effectively planned, coordinated, and delivered in line with operational, safety, and commercial requirements.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in an administrative, coordination, or project support role.
• Strong organisational and time management skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Proactive approach with strong problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a wider project team.

Responsibilities

• Support the planning and coordination of project activities across civils, cabling, substation, and overhead line workstreams.
• Assist with the preparation and distribution of work packs, programmes, drawings, permits, and RAMS.
• Coordinate materials, plant, labour, and subcontractor activities to support successful project delivery.
• Monitor project progress and maintain accurate records of key milestones, activities, and deliverables.
• Support Site Managers and Supervisors with operational administration, logistics, and issue resolution.
• Ensure project documentation is accurately maintained, updated, and submitted in line with client and business requirements.
• Assist with stakeholder communications, including coordination with clients, local authorities, landowners, and operational teams.
• Produce project reports, dashboards, progress updates, and supporting documentation for project teams and management.
• Support procurement activities, change tracking, cost monitoring, and commercial administration processes.
• Promote compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality requirements across project activities.

As a Project Coordinator, you'll play a vital role in supporting project teams, ensuring activities are effectively planned, coordinated, and delivered in line with operational, safety, and commercial requirements.

What You'll Do

• Experience producing reports, dashboards, and project performance information would be advantageous.
