Murray Recruitment have an excellent position for a Project Administrator for a permanent position based in Glasgow City Centre.
The Project Administrator will work closely with the Project Manager to carry out project administration for the Division.
Responsibilities
- Co-ordinating and planning engineers' workload.
- Liaising with suppliers and ensuring first-class customer service at all times.
- Liaising between customers and operations management to ensure smooth operational delivery meeting contract SLAs.
- Processing new projects on the project management system and collating documentation.
- Creating work packs for engineers i.e., drawings, equipment list, etc.
- Raising equipment orders, as required to support the Project Manager.
- Organising accommodation and overnight allowance.
- Obtaining information from contractors to set up new accounts.
- Updating monthly financial reports.
- Generating and submitting applications for payment/invoices.
- Processing part orders from wholesalers.
- Attending and contributing to project meetings.
- Providing cover for Planner.
- Ad hoc tasks to support the projects division.
Experience / Skills
- Experience working within a Project/Commercial Administration or Assistant position.
- Billing or invoicing experience.
- Excellent IT skills ideally with experience of using project management software.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills.
- Team player with the ability to work on own initiative.
- Strong attention to detail and organised.
Offering
- Starting salary £26k - £28k DOE.
- Hours Monday - Friday 35 hours between 9 am - 5 pm.
- Holidays are 20 days annual, increasing to 25 days after one year’s service and 8 days’ public and 1 day birthday holidays.
