St John Rigby College in Wigan seeks a Progress Tutor to support and monitor a caseload of students, delivering a focused tutorial programme. You will help students improve learning skills and track progress, liaising with parents and carers to foster strong relationships.

The role includes safeguarding responsibilities, managing attendance, achievement and retention, and contributing to a positive, inclusive college culture. This is a permanent, term-time position with full-time hours.

Qualifications

• Experience working with young people.
• Ability to liaise with parents and carers to support students.
• Track and monitor student attendance, achievement and retention.

Responsabilités

• Support and monitor students, individually and in groups, to deliver a tutorial programme.
• Help students focus on learning and study skills to achieve their full potential.
• Monitor safeguarding concerns and liaise with relevant staff as required.
